Officer Bruce Williams of the Sheridan PD has close ties with Gateway Optimist Club
“The Mayor had sent Chief Martinez a letter that a citizen had sent her outlining an incident where Officer Williams had taken it upon himself to assist an elderly couple with a purchase that they had made at Target. Officer Williams assisted them with getting the cart to their car, loading the items into their car, as well as returning the shopping cart to the store, all during a snowstorm. This is not the first time that Officer Williams has displayed random acts of kindness. He clearly made an incredibly positive impression on this couple, and they were truly grateful for his actions. Officer Williams has once again performed in an admirable manner, bringing great support to the Sheridan Police Department. Outstanding work Officer Williams, keep up the great job you are doing.”
